Best of Our Rainbow AwardThe Philosophy Research Base won the Best of our Rainbow Award for the LGBT Resources site from Kimberly K. Lark's Poetry In The Dark website in July, 1999.  

The Best of Our Rainbow is a "special interest" award; rewarded exclusively to applicants who have LGBT oriented sites.

Web Knight AwardThe Philosophy Research Base won the Castles of Tuscany Web Knight Award of Excellence for its medieval web in July, 1999.  The Castles of Tuscany website was created to let people know of the existence and state of preservation of Italy's testimonies to the medieval era.

Castles of Tuscany bestows its award for design, navigation and medieval content.

Wildlife Tracker Gold AwardThe Philosophy Research Base won the Wildlife Tracker Gold Award of Excellence for its Environmental Philosophy Web in July, 1999.  Wildlife Tracker is the web's premiere animal and environmental search engine.

Wildlife Tracker bestows awards on sites that must have excellent content that would make a great resource for all viewers. Design is also important, but unlike other sites that award sites mostly on design, when it come to an animal or environmental site it's the content that counts!

Call of the Wild Wolf Award of ExcellenceThe Philosophy Research Base won the Call of the Wild Wolf Award of Excellence for its Ecology and Environmental Philosophy Web in August, 1999.  Call of the Wild Wolf Education website is dedicated to helping us to clarify our misunderstandings about the Wolf. 

This award is offered to select web pages fitting an elite category containing educational materials about specific animals, wildlife and/or ecology in general as well as offering resources available to aid in the wildlife conservation effort.
