May 19, 2002, and then appeared in Ginger Lukens' column "Story Telling Ink" in the Hillsboro, Ohio, Times-Gazette, p. 5A (July 24, 2003).
An updated version of the article was published in Passages, the magazine of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), Winter issue, 2005.
The updated version was subsequently published in The Pepper Tree, a literary magazine in Sarasota, FL (Jan. 2006), p. 19. |
